The Feast of Mary, Mother of God
The Feast of Mary, Mother of God (Thursday, January 1) is A HOLY DAY OF OBLIGATION in this year of 2026. Mass will be celebrated on New Year’s Eve (Wednesday December 31) at 4:15PM and at 8AM and 10AM on Thursday, January 1, 2026. There is no better way to begin 2026 than by uniting with our Blessed Mother in prayers of peace, and joining in her Son’s Eucharist. Join in the Mass on New Year’s Day!
CCD - Help Needed!
We are in need of a first grade CCD teacher. If you are interested, please contact Paula Vinzani at 814-279-1474 or paula.vinzani@gmail.com. Clearances are required.
St. Peter's Building Repair Fund
Parishioners, there will be second collections to secure funds for building maintenance projects.
1.Roof Repairs: For now, we have decided to do the repairs for a toal of $25,000
2.Church Pavers: $6,700.
3.Parking Lot: The parking lot needs some pavement repairs and resealed. The estimated cost for this work is not known at this writing.
4.Hall Air Conditioners: Two high efficiency units at a cost of $14,400.
5.School Boilers: We had to replace the boilers in the school this winter. Cost for that work was $54,000. One boiler was replaced at the cost of $18,000, the remaining $36,000 is still needed for two boilers.
All proceeds are greatly appreciated and we ask every one to participate in the fund drive in order to complete these projects.
